HDAT2 forum

Hi,first regards to all comunity,I'm newbie.Sorry for my english.My question:¿Is possible to unlock this kind of device with HDAT2 software?I'm trying to restore my data and i would want to change the faulty pcb with other ok ,but doesn't works.I have reading about and i understand that mechanical and electronic parts are attached(married),¿is possible to unlock the pcb?When I try to put pcb from another hdd ,ide seems to frozen and doesn´t load HDAT2 and bios seems to frezze ,too.Help ,please.thanks.

Thanks for your reply.Yes,MK3008GAL is an ipod drive but doesn´t use windows CE ata standard.I can put it under windows without problems.The problem is that the password is requested when is booting up and is on the PCB and on HPA or some place,i think.I understand that when boots up the firm ask for the password on the HPA,and looks if match with the pass of pcb.Thanks.
