HDAT2 forum

First at all, sorry for my english. It's very bad.
A friend give to me a notebook with Windows XP loaded. I saw, some time ago, a message at the begin of the startup (Not in DOS mode, but really close). I read some like Pointsec secure bla bla bla... Because I really want to reinstall de XP, I decide to format the HD. When I try to re-install the Windows XP, the Windows setup don't reconize the Hard Disk. After this, I use de FDISK, partition magic, etc and I was removed the pointsec message. I saw"Ok, I'm ready to install again the Windows XP"... But, the windows setup are still without reconozing the Hard disk. Then, I try to instal the FEDORA, and the FEDORA reconize the Hard disk, and the software was succesfully installed, but, I wan to install Windows XP.
The problem is that the windows installation program don't reconize the Hard Disk, an other, like DOS and Fedora do it.
Can someone help me with this?
